Baby Elephant WIP | #7 | ||

This is my square for our charity project. I know it's just a blob right now. I promise it will look like an elephant at some point! I wanted to wait til it looked a little more like something definite...unfortunately though I'm losing my motivation for this project tonight. I've been stitching nothing but 3033 for days on this thing (the lighter beige color in the pic) and there's more to do. There's only about 4 or 5 colors in this whole thing. Just wanted a little motivation. I'm probably going to stitch some of the darker shadowed areas before I do any more 3033! I'm seeing that color in my sleep!

Thanks Sarah! I'll work on it for a little while today. I'm hoping to get through all the 3033. If I can get that color done completely, then
that'll be more than half the pattern done! Woo Hoo!

Here is a before and after pic. I can't believe how much progress I made just last night alone!!!
Two Days ago (July 24 2009) 
Taken a few minutes ago (July 26 2009) It's actually starting to look like an elephant!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

I did get a lot more done yesterday. I'm going to stitch like crazy this weekend. I will take a pic of all my WIPs and post them at the end of the

I backstitched what I could today while watching movies as it poured rain outside. I'll have to move the fabric over to finish the face and trunk. Almost done! Sandye
